I took this pic of my '97 S-10 truck when I got home today. Was I overloaded?
The black weights are 1" thick. The cat food weighed 40 pounds. The three bags of bird seed are 20 pounds each. ![]() Probably next time I will skip picking up the bird seed!! ![]()

As long as you made it home no problem.

This one reminds me of a couple guys that came into the quarry I used to own. They had a rotted out Ford F-150 with a flat bed and side boards on it. My loader operator loaded it till it started to settle pretty good and stopped. The owners wanted more on it so I told them that they were already overloaded but they insisted on more so I told them that they would have to shovel it on themselves. They did and left with three and a half tons. They got about a mile down the road and the truck broke in half. The cops show up and ask them how much they had on the truck, the owner says only about a half ton at which point the owners kids says “No daddy the man at the scale said we have three and a half tons” They ended up with an overweight ticket, had to shovel the load onto another truck and tow bill. Too funny.

Probably could have gotten by without the cat food. With the bird seed you should be able to feed the cat also.

I am still trying to figure out what the IH 6701-DA wheel weights weigh.
![]() Google only finds what they fit, not the weight!! ![]() I ain't lifting them again to put them on a scale, probably bust the scale anyway. The cats are important, we haven't seen a LIVE mouse in 12 years!! AND moles, the cats really work on them. I do not think the cats could get a bird, UNLESS, Hmmmmmmm............. I guess I could LOWER the feeder!! ![]() ![]() ![]()

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
