i think i will take a break from here because of all the b.s. going on. i do not need children telling me what i can say. i also dont need certain people trying to make me look stupid with my replies. i have been around cars, trucks ,and tractors since i was 4. my dad was a master mechanic way before the internet days. i offer my thoughts and experience as a way of helping others, not to be treated like a fool. i belong to several other tractor forums and i have never had this kind of crap.

I think I speak for most here when I say I hate to hear that members are walking away or taking a break from this site due to some members recent...activity. I haven't been posting as much in recent months but it has nothing to do with others here. But I am on the site daily and have seen quite a bit of what you are talking about. All I can say is that I'm willing to bet that if the BS continues, the people causing it won't be around much longer to cause it. I understand how you feel but hope you reconsider and stick around; there really are a lot of great people here and I hope a few bad apples don't ruin it for the rest. In either case, take care and Cub on

No worries, I think he's gone. I for one appreciate your and everyone else's help, without this forum both my cubs would be toast. Especially Jonathan who I often see at 11 o'clock at night , presumably after a long day at work, taking from his rest time and helping others on here.
I do have one regret, we will never know how that PTO turned out.

I hope you stick around, now that the biggest trouble maker is gone hopefully we can get back to cubs. I enjoy your post and it would be a shame to lose you over certain peoples inability to shut up.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
