A quick warning for everyone, the WHO has published a report today saying that consumption of processed meats increases the risk of colorectal cancer. They also said that based on "limited evidence", red meat is "probably carcinogenic". So put down that sausage and bacon folks. And stay away from pork, veal, goat, beef , lamb, rabbit, switch to tofu instead.
Are these the same folks that said eggs are bad for you due to cholesterol and then, after depriving generations of good nutritious eggs and other cholesterol rich foods, said a couple months ago that actually the cholesterol you ingest has little no effect on cholesterol levels in the blood? Or are they the folks that created generations of people allergic to peanuts by recommending that peanuts be excluded from children's diet, only to find out that guess what, feeding peanuts to children actually prevents them from developing peanut allergies? Just wondering ![]() |

My Dad ate 2 fried eggs, 4 strips of of bacon, and buttered toast for breakfast every day of his adult life. That was about 69 years. He did die of cancer at 79 but it was the 2 packs of unfiltered Pall Malls he smoked every day. His cholesterol was fine too.

I figure the large majority of us will die either from cancer or a heart attack. I plan to enjoy myself till then.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
