Have some concerns about a 100
There is a decent shaped 100 in my area for sale on Craigslist. I'm interested in it but the price almost seems to good to be true for being a good running mowing tractor with fenders. What do you all think?

I just paid 300 for mine in southern Wisconsin. It came with an extra set of tires/wheels and good engine, but it had no deck, no lift mechanism, no pto lever or rod, and needed the clutch reassembled. Yours seems like it is at least all there. If it runs good then it is priced right.

Looks like grass clippings on the deck--good sign. If I wanted one to use or restore, I'd be one the way for a test drive--with cash in hand, ad did say OBO. Good Luck.

Go check it out and see if it's too good to be true. Make an offer and work up to a meeting point with the owner.

I'd say go get it!!
 . As long as it's not beat to death that's decent price for a turn key machine. Around here they are impossible to find in good original condition like that one appears to be! Keep us posted on your findings!

I'd go check it out, and test drive it while you're there. If it's a non-runner, offer a lower number. Getting one running isn't a huge obstacle, and there's no harm in looking!
