Default 169 winter glam shots

Few winter pix since we all like pix. New (to my machine) snow thrower and wheel weights. Thrower came from WV and the weights were local. Blasted them painted with 2 coats of gloss. Fastenal supplied the stainless carriage bolts.

That's a really nicely outfitted tractor. Looks like it did a great job doing what it was meant to do also. Thanks for the glam shot :-)

Looks good user j. I remember you saying that you purchased that one from Tennessee and had it shipped. Care to share about the shipping $$? Only reason I ask is because I just used Fastenal for a bigger item from Illinois to Florida and it was $119 on a pallet. I would imagine yours was considerably more but apparently worth it as you ended up with that awesome 169. If you don’t want to share I understand but was just curious to see if the Fastenal gig is the way to go for bigger stuff. I’ve used R and L before with an LTL and it was right to my door from Texas and wasn’t bad either.

Beautiful tractor! Looks like it is a real snow killer.
Not to hijack the thread, but a quick comment on Fastenal. I have used them to ship quite a bit of large items like a 60" Haban deck (TN to NY) or a 50 hp outboard motor (NY to WI). Their rates seem to be consistent at around $125 per standard pallet. It's a great deal, usually less than two weeks to a destination, and so far no damage.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
