Yeah, I heard something about that. IIRC, it started with a Dwelling Fire and spread.

Yeah Roland that was one of them , smoke enveloping Sydney and environs for weeks now
The Climate change do-gooders are partially to blame as no hazard reduction burns or fire trail clearing is available to our fire-fighters thus making the task of control exceedingly difficult

And a quite familiar scene to the folks here in MT. Last summer was
the first in 15 years we haven't spent the summer enveloped in smoke.
I feel for the pain you have living and breathing in that environment.
I wish you luck only I don't really know what that means.

Eucalyptus trees burn hot and bright , heard somewhere that those trees in California came from Australia (cannot confirm or deny)

We are now up to 3.5 million hectares and the Navy is having to evacuate Australians to a safer place
And we are not done yet as I type we are under extreme weather with a temp of 45c today
Those people who advocated/forced no Hazard Reduction burns should be held responsible for culpable manslaughter as we have lost 36 good Aussies so far due to fires
Please pray for rain

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
