Default New Toy!

Here's some picture's of the new toy. Brought it home yesterday, long trip in a major snow storm with a near death experience. Long story but we made it home ok. Came with a like new deck.

Great looking tractor in the snow. I should have my new to me 782 home in a little over a week. Hard to wait for new toys. LOL. Congrats on the new toy.

Default Nice 582!!

Sweet tractor Junior! I never thought I'd buy a square fender cub let alone a red one, but I really like the 82 series, what a great line of tractors. Congrat's on your new toy, feels great to get a new cub

:biggrin2.gif: Yeah I did!! Woot!!

I still have a 169 I am waiting on to be delivered and a 129 I just picked up a week or two ago. The 129 will be my daily worker for awhile. And my 128 in a hundred pieces. That will be this years project.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
