Default Picture of the Week?

Just curious about why the cub cadet Picture of the Week has not been updated since September. I didn't know if someone had become ill, or busy, or something else. Just wanted to mention that I did appreciate the time that it took to sponsor that and I did look forward to seeing other people's cub cadets. If it has ended its run, then "Thanks for posting all of the wonderful cubs." and if it is coming back, then "I can't wait to see the new pics of cubs in the future."

T-Mo has decided to take on other endeavors and currently nothing has really been discussed about continuing it or not. We'll keep everyone updated if anything new with it comes up.

As a mod I liked having someone else do the potw, less chance of us being blamed for playing favorites. I miss that feature of the site and I hope it continues.

I would love to see someone step up and take this over. any takers?

I would, but I am holding down 2 jobs, working around 14 hours a day and even on weekends. Heck, I don't even have time to work on or ride my cubs unless it is just to mow the yard! I could possibly do a picture of the month (???), but that's probably only going to cause people to lose interest in checking it out and I don't want to lessen its significance in any way.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
