Default Stock Tire Size for 1450

Can anyone tell me what the stock tire size is for my 1450? As you can see I bought it without rubber so I have nothing to go on.
Sources for tires would also be helpful.

I also need to know what kind of hydraulic fluid to use on it as the system is dry at this time.

The motor is dry but I assume that 10-30w would be sufficient for that.

Thank you in advance

Bill

Given it has the stock rims, it takes 23 10.50-12 on the rear and 16 6.50-8 front. The hydrostatic system takes non synthetic hy trans that you can get at your local cub dealer.

Do not use 10W30! Use SAE30 instead.

Default Tires and fluid information

Thank you for the information.
I will get the SAE 30 and HYTRAN from a cub dealer
Hopefully tractor supply will have the tires at a reasonable price.

I called the local Cub Cadet dealer today (huge dealer been in business long time) and they don't carry HYTran oil. They said that Cub Cadet and International are 2 different things and that my machine is likely a International Cub and not a International Cub Cadet.. Of course I quickly corrected them as it says "International Cub Cadet" on it and that I understood that the Cub Cadets of today are different.
Oh well, you can rest assured that I will not be putting much weight on any of their opinions.

Your dealer should have the correct tranny fluid. Most of the dealers don't know the old Cub Cadets. Mine sure doesn't.

I would be going elsewhere. Do you have an Case IH dealer around your area? They would have it in a barrel, and from what I've heard, cheaper to.

Default HyTran compatible Fluid

Has anyone used Traveller® Universal Tractor Trans/Hydraulic Fluid that is sold at tractor supply?

It indicates on the package that it is recommended for:
Case HY-TRAN Ultra (MS-1209)
Case HY-TRAN Plus (MS-1207)
Case TCH Fluid MS-1210 (JIC 145)
International Harvester HY-TRAN B-6
International Harvester HY-TRANS Plus (MS-1207)

To name just a few.

The cub manual states HY-Tran B-6 which is listed

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
