Default No More Key To The Executive Washroom!!

I took back the key the 2284 had to the executive washroom. No more easy life of just hauling around a mower, it is time for it to join the ranks of the hard workers!!

The 2284 already had the Sam Mac rear axle brace, that was covered!!

Next wheel weights were added.

The trailer lifter is on the three point hitch arms.

I kept the front bumper/weight bracket off the 1872, it got a coat of IH white

The weight bracket went right on the front!!

The plastic has some protection, WOOT!

Does anybody know where I can get some Greene paint!??

Now, the 2284 can earn its keep!! The mower deck is on the shelf!!

Looks great! Now you just need to add your trademark JD seat LOL. Let me know if you want to sell that deck, it's too good to be just sitting on the shelf. Your on your own with the JD green weights.

I do miss that tractor!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
