Default snow plow wear glide
I just used a 1/2" x 2 1/2" grade 8 bolt ground to fit in a dampener washer from an IH truck and a 2" doughnut gasket all welded up and ready to go. Should last way longer than the original. Just stuff I had laying around.

Late 50's and early 60's Chrysler products have huge cupped washers on the strut rods (2 ea) that are perfect for this use also.

I kinda figured BUT I've never saw one other then fiber impregnated with steel therefor the dumb question I should of asked pure steel?

Yes they are made from steel of course. They are used on exhaust systems on cars and trucks. This one is NOS from parts I have saved up for my 2 IH pick-ups. ( see my avatar) Some of these parts for old IH trucks are getting scarce. Although these gaskets were used on lots of vehicles, not just IH. They go between the exhaust manifold and the cross-over pipe. They are flat on the manifold side and chamfered on the other side to wedge tight into the bell end of the cross-over pipe when you tighten them down. We just always called them doughnut gaskets. This worked perfect around the dampener washer, also NOS.
