Well there's no turning back now, It all started as a big oil leak on the remote oil line, then I noticed another from the rear seal, then I found 2 more leaks on the rear end. So I decided that it was time to restore. First is tearing it down , done!. Now it's time to clean and prep for paint. Rescue11 and I plan on adding another separate lift cylinder and hydraulic ports front and rear, power steering, super steer front axle, and some new bling. I have been wanting to do this for awhile I just needed an excuse. All comments / suggestions welcome please. Ic there is anthying I need to do or do better please let me know.

Well I welded up the trunion, it was a little gaped on both sides also added a few spacers to take out some wobble. Waiting on a set of O rings for the relief values and a new relief spring / cone. Already painted her up so the hydro will be put up and ready to go. I hope lol. Cleaned out the trany, what a mess! Now to preasure was the frame and a few odds n ends then sand prime & Paint.

Rock shaft? Given all the posts of stuck or bent shafts, I would want to tear that apart to clean up as well. Now you may have been in there recently and I am not aware. But being apart I would certainly check it out.

The lift assembly in the center of the frame. That pivot can bend or the pins can bend or some just rust into one unit. Really. Just that it will come apart in the future.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
