X3- i also move a lot of firewood each year and just so happens that i have a small 10cu.ft dump trailer that needs tongue work and tires!

Put the carry all to the test and a few minor issued developed.
The unit worked great with two rows of firewood level with the top. While I have a home made Johnny bucket on the front of the tractor I didn't require any additional front weight. As with everyone I pushed it some more. If I pile the two rows of firewood as high as I can the front end gets light. Putting wood into the Johnny bucket solved the light front. The resulting heavier load bent the metal plates mounting the hitch pins. I had to add plates to handle the load. Attachment 67369 |

Also added angle supports to help remove some flexing. The supports are bolted onto the carryall so they can be removed to use it like forks.

Here is the tractor loaded with wood (level with top).
I did have great traction with the carryall loaded. Even on muddy wet ground the tires never slipped. Attachment 67372 |
That is a good load for sure. Looks like at least twice what my wheelbarrow holds. Looks 10 times easier to move too!!
