Bored :(

So its now coming to the point where winter is almost gone. I've not been on my Cub for any seat time now for two weeks and I'm getting bored. So, I've been cleaning house for spring, doing the normal chores, and decided to get the pistol out and go to the range for something more to do.

I'm thinking its about time to go ahead and take off the snow thrower but I know as soon as I do we will get a measurable snow so its just sitting in the garage looking so lonely.

I have gone through the mower deck and its ready to go, now to wait on spring and mowing season to get here :) I have been so bored I even cleaned the garage out because my guy kept saying how he was going to do that.....well for a few months gone by I couldn't stand it anymore so the garage got cleaned out :D

C'mon spring :beerchug:

I hear ya! I just put the thrower away and cleaned up the garage from the winter yesterday. The garage has had motor swaps, brake lines made, tranny/oil fluid changes, brake pads on the truck changed, tires swapped, etc., etc. Needless to say, it needed some TLC. But I'm with ya, SPRING HURRY UP!!! I've got 2 mowers just waiting to kill some grass, all we need is some grass!

It's a balmy 65 here today :biggrin2: I still see white stuff though. It kinda takes away from it.

I hear ya Amy. I welcome the warmer weather (45° yesterday) but hesitate to look forward to the spring and the melting of the huge amount of snow we got.

I'm not taking any snow equipment off yet. BTDT

Bored is an understatement, any of you wondering why I am spending so much time here? Anyway it's 63 at the moment. The crap we got the other day is almost all gone. Hope to get back to working on the deck for the 1782 soon. Here are the pics for yesterday and today. Today was a good day. Roland you better by a Raft. :beerchug:

That snow sure didn't last long Sam! Wow! I wouldn't mind snow as bad if it snowed and a couple days later it was gone.

Me and this winter has been like the Bobcat kissing the Skunk....

I've about enjoyed all of this that I can stand...

LOL....was 58 here today and I rolled the yard with the snowthrower on but took the chains off. The weatherman said today the snow wed is only going to be 1-3" so the lil blower we have will be used. I think tomorrow im taking the thrower off and storing it in the shed for the summer ahead. :beerchug:

"A snowstorm has started to take shape over the Midwest with its sights set on the Northeast.
Snow began falling on Tuesday night from Missouri to Michigan with snow reported in downtown Kansas City within 7 hours of the city hitting 80 degrees.
This storm is expected to track north and east throughout Wednesday with snow reaching Maine and Nova Scotia by the end of the day."

It's already here  We break so many record for freezing this year, I'm tempted to became a "Young winter snowbird"! I consider seriously to buy or rent a place in Costa-Rica or Nicaragua.

After 6 attempts in my not heated garage I quit trying to repair the snow thrower before in a moment of pure rage I pick a sledgehammer to get rid of it. So I did my 3400 sq ft drive way with my Arien walk behind snow blower again this year.:bash2:

Priority list for next summer:

1-Install a electric "Dragon" heater in the garage...
2-restore the da... snow thrower
3-all the rest.....LMAO

I take my retirement in 5 years! Key west is a bit expensive no? You can get a nice prefab house for $6000 in Costa Rica, you just need a piece of land to build it, Nicaragua got new law for tourist building residence, you have to be there or your family with papers to sell your house, in Mexico anyone can pretend to represent you!

Here the link for the house a friend living there post in another forum... :
