So its now coming to the point where winter is almost gone. I've not been on my Cub for any seat time now for two weeks and I'm getting bored. So, I've been cleaning house for spring, doing the normal chores, and decided to get the pistol out and go to the range for something more to do.
I'm thinking its about time to go ahead and take off the snow thrower but I know as soon as I do we will get a measurable snow so its just sitting in the garage looking so lonely. I have gone through the mower deck and its ready to go, now to wait on spring and mowing season to get here ![]() ![]() C'mon spring ![]()

I hear ya! I just put the thrower away and cleaned up the garage from the winter yesterday. The garage has had motor swaps, brake lines made, tranny/oil fluid changes, brake pads on the truck changed, tires swapped, etc., etc. Needless to say, it needed some TLC. But I'm with ya, SPRING HURRY UP!!! I've got 2 mowers just waiting to kill some grass, all we need is some grass!

I hear ya Amy. I welcome the warmer weather (45° yesterday) but hesitate to look forward to the spring and the melting of the huge amount of snow we got.

Bored is an understatement, any of you wondering why I am spending so much time here? Anyway it's 63 at the moment. The crap we got the other day is almost all gone. Hope to get back to working on the deck for the 1782 soon. Here are the pics for yesterday and today. Today was a good day. Roland you better by a Raft.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
