Trunion shaft seal replacement

I'm finally getting around to replacing the leaky trunion shaft seal on my 1210. It looks like I'll have to drop the rear end/hydro assembly out of the frame to do this. Has anyone extracted the seal from the hydro unit without taking it apart? It's a small seal so I'll probably have to make some kind of a puller. I've asked this before, but thought I'd get some fresh advice before I start in on it.

If it's the left side trunion seal, you have no choice but to disassemble the rearend. If it's the right side one you can pry it out with a screwdriver.

Also there is another trick that sometimes works:
Knock a hole in the seal with an ice pick, or better, drill one, then insert a sheetmetal screw.
Then pry out the seal taking care to use something to pry on giving you the needed leverage.

Fortunately, it's the right side. I'll try to pry it out, or as suggested previously, use a slide hammer.
