Wheel Weights
I found some weights at the mower junk yard , and the guy wanted 100.00 for 2 40lb wheel weights. ( not cub but would fit it)
3 years ago I made 2 25lb weights ( red ones in the pic) that seemed to be enough for pushing snow around here. but I dont think its enough for pulling a plow. and sence I still have the plate, I cut out some more. I now can put 95 lbs inside each wheel. Ill start cutting out the suitcase weights tomorrow. need to make a bracket too. :bigthink: http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/pictu...pictureid=2743 http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/pictu...pictureid=2744 |

thanks. they still need some grinding.
I welded 3 plates together to get 30.4 lbs and 4 plates welded came to 40.3 lbs. and the red top plate is 24.7 lbs I use the wifes bathroom scale to check them. I dont know if it right or not , the wife told me it lies and must be broken. :biggrin2: |

test fit. I can get all 3 weights bolted together off the 582. but can only get the 2 on the wheel. I can almost get the 3rd weight on but one hole is off almost 1/2 a hole.
Im going to drill the 3 holes a little bigger and weld shut and redrill the 4th hole. other then that, I think they will work out fine. and the fit inside the wheel is good. http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/pictu...pictureid=2754 http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/pictu...pictureid=2753 http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/pictu...pictureid=2752 |
