126 QA42A snowthrower belt adjust ?

Ok after mounting the blower and adjusting the belt with the hand screw should you tighten the 4 bolts that mount the pulley plate to the main blower frame.

The 4 bolts are loose so you can adjust the belt they are in elongated holes.

No, there are spacers in there so the part with the gearbox on it can slide up and down, allowing you to adjust the belt. Those bolts should already be tight.
