Broken Carburator Flange!
I found that my Walbro carburator mount flange has broken along the barrel of the carb. It's right along an jet orifice. Any chance of having it welded (tig?)? I work at a machine shop, so could get milling done if I had to, but was hoping to just have it welded on the carb side and edges of the flange. Anyone have any experience with JB Weld on something similar? Hate to buy a new one if I can fix this one! Thanks!

Welding might be an option I have never heard of anyone doing that before. Anything is possible. I will tell you first hand JB weld will not hold for more than an hour or so. BTDT The vibration does that stuff in. I backed into my 125 with my car and snapped off one of the bolt flanges on the carb. I finally just found a good used carb.
