Are these ok to lift with?
 

I was going to just pull the tins and power wash but there is so much gunk under the motor that I'm going to pull it out first. Are these tabs heavy enough to lift with? They seem centered enough on the engine. While it's out I think I will check the valves and put new head gaskets in. Looks like it may need crank seals as well.

I just pulled the engine out of my 782 to replace a leaky crankshaft seal as well. I used those exact lift points without any problems. The cherry picker worked great! Sure saved my back. :biggrin2:
