leaking oil lines to filter on 1811
2 Attachment(s)
The lines to the filter have been seeping all summer, took side panels off today to check it out. :bash2:
Attachment 29958 Attachment 29959 I hope it is just fittings seeping but I will power wash it and then run a while to see where its leaking. Are these fittings cub specific or can i get them at a farm supply shop. |
I've been replacing mine with the standard filter adapter and engine tin to do away with the lines. I think Cub was the only garden tractor that used remote lines. You can get the adapter new from a Kohler dealer for about 40 bucks, or get them from Joes out door power on epay.

Looks like you have either a loose or cracked fitting or lines. Make sure the fittings are tight.
Clean up the residue and see if you can pinpoint the leak by observing new spillage. Once you discover the exact area, you can either have a new fitting or the whole line replaced. |
i just installed new lines on 1812 oil filter adapter for neighbor, he got them made at hose shop $30 for the pair. last i checked they were $54 ea from cub
