snow thrower belt please HELP
 

well snows around the corner and i need help with the drive belt not sure how to get it over the mechanical pto arm please help thanks zach

You have to open up the gap by undoing the turnbuckle on the pto arm that connects it to the dash lever. Then it will fit right up through there

Is this on a 147? Follow the rod past the turnbuckle back to the rockshaft on the dash tower, there should be a quick pin/cotter pin holding the rod to the rockshaft. Remove the pin and shove the rod as far forward as you can (obviously after you've already put the lever on the opposite side in the "engaged" or on position) that should give you a lot of clearance between the PTO and the arm for the belt. Reverse order for operation.

you better clean the rust off the pto pulley or you will be replacing the belt shortly
