Setup Instructions, Haban to a 2186, Do They Exist?
 

I have the sixty inch Haben deck ready to reinstall on my 2182. Search has not turned up any instructions so I ask of the experts. Sam Mack identified my deck as an early version and serial number dates the 2182 as a later version. I am not convinced the deck was ever properly installed, set up correctly.
The two collars shown were installed on the rear brake shaft that runs between the frame vertical sides. Each collar was beside the rearmost tab of the mower lift functioning as a centering device. The deck has the large frame mounted centering device. Are those collars shown actually a centering device or are they a sacrificial wear item that works under the rear tab of the lift frame? Are the sides of the lifting frame supposed to hit and wear on the brake shaft?

I don't know where the 2186 came from. Unit is a 2182.
