Add implement lift to 782
 

How hard/pricey would it be to find the parts to add a rear sleeve hitch to a 782?

Found one priced pretty good but no lift, which I want/need. Trying to decide if its worth the hassle/expwnse of buying it and adding the lift.

Would be all internet shopping. No support to speak of locally and nothing in the way of fan base here either that I've found.

You should be able to get everything for $100-200. It's not hard to install at all. Check the sponsors at the top of the page. The pricey part comes when you start buying implements

Including the rock shaft and sleeve? Or were those standard?

I have an 1811 which is almost the same as your tractor and I would say $200-$300 minimum. Just the sleeve hitch and parts for it are usually over a hundred dollars. The necessary parts are the actuator arm that bolts to the rear end, the frankestien bolts, the rear end bracket, the lift rod, the two lift pieces for the hitch and then you will need the long rod that goes from the ram to the rear of the tractor and the little attachment bracket that goes with it. I bought mine from ebay and the guy sold me the wrong one but one of our forum members need it so it worked out. Be careful because people will sell you stuff that you cannot use. If you can find the exact dimensions of the long rod and the angle in it it will save you some time. If were you I would buy the whole kit from one of our sponsors and you will be way ahead.:beerchug:

Extreme motorworks makes a nice 3 point lift for the 82 series. They also make sleeve hitches.

Thanks for the offer, inspector. I live diagonally across Atlanta in Gainesville, so would have to work out just right for me to drop down. Maybe if I were just passing through . . .

I was thinking $300 or so would probably be about what it would take to do this. Don't think that's worth it. Guess I'll just keep waiting for something that already has a lift on it.

I've been patient, but I'm getting less so. There just isn't much market for these around here apparently. Didn't take an opportunity on a manual lift a couple of weeks ago and have regretted it since. Should have bought it to have one to use in the garden until I can find one with a hydro lift.
