Are these frame the same , was wondering if 1000 side shields fit a 108

I think he fixed it.

Quiet Line side shields won't fit a 1X8/9.

You may be able to change the grill shell & muffler and get them to work, and air cleaner.

They may take some massaging but I don't think it'd be to hard to make work. As far as I know the only real change in the frame itself is how the engine mounts.

the side panels wont fit with the starter/generator on the 108.

As was said I think the frames are same. Putting on side panels would also require the proper engine shrouds, firewall, Etc to cool correctly. Probably not worth the trouble.

Yup, I forgot about the S/G, and yes, it probably wouldn't cool well.

Father in Law, was going to put a 14hp with ring gear starter on it, was wanting side shields on it.

Hi Donny, i do know the clutch release levers are different. Got one from Z Kerber and it was a little long. Had to move the clutch hanger up. Difference between a frame mount motor (108) and frame rail mount.(QL) Mike:beer2:
