LTX1045 will not run
 

Need some help here, I have a 2 year old LTX1045 with the wonderful kohler courage. This past Saturday I was cutting the grass next door to me (foreclosed house) and hit a root stuck up. It killed the engine but fired right back up, but would not idle up, so I pulled it up to my building and cut it off. Since then I have tried to start numerous times, it will turn over but not run. I'm not a mechanic but have tinkered on many things. Here's what I know- plug is firing, carb. Solenoid is opening and closing, fuel is getting to the plug, keyway is still in place and has compression (finger test). After I checked fire on plug I gave it a shot of starting fluid and got a back fire and that was it. I'm about to pull my hair out, can someone please tell me what I'm missing.

I'm guessing it's still under warranty I'd take it back to whoever you bought it from and let them deal with it, that's why you paid the big $$$ for a Cub Cadet.
