1811 issues
 

I have a 1811 that I picked up for almost nothing but is developing problem as I try to use it. It starts running rough as soon as you try to push it a little, it also doesn't seem to want to charge and last but not least the PTO won't engage unless I hold it on. I have looked at the key switch and made sure I had good connection and also the regulator. I am open to all suggestions. Thanks :American Flag 1:

Did you clean the carbb ? How many Volts is it charging ?

Don't think it is the carb because it come and goes but I'll hit it with some carb cleaner to be sure. I saw on a another post that if it not charging and battery is down it will keep the PTO from latching in.

Do know if it has safety Swich under the sent ? The clutch will do the same thing bad swich or a broken wire broken . I think you need 12 voits keep it working .
