Electric Lift Motor
 

Has anyone on here had the motor apart on a Cub Electric Lift? Trying to remove the back cover and it appears stuck to the armature or something else in there. Motor is very noisy like it needs a bearing replaced.

Likely the brushes are stuck on the commutator. But shaft could be stuck too. Take the motor off and pull the other end apart. Then pull the armature and cap out the opposite end.

After removing the two long bolts, should the back plate come off without doing anything else? I had the bolts out and and was lightly prying the end, but it seemed as though something was holding it. The end separated maybe an 1/8" and I tried prying lightly but no go.

I got the motor apart. Where can I get brushes? Located brushes.

Rear bushing is froze to the shaft.
