Cat 0 install question
 

Istalling a cat 0 hitch on a buddys CCC tractor . got 1 bolt on the axle housing that will not tighten up. What are the options ? thanks much

Rdehli, I'm not sure which bolt you are talking about or if you are working on a GT or a SGT but I'm probably going to say you will need some type of threaded insert or maybe tap it to the next size if possible. Probably a good idea to install a set of rear braces too.

FWIW, I have a stripped out bolt on my 882 and I have not had any issues yet. I use Permatex #2 on all bolts. Someday I'll repair it.:BlahBlah:

I had that issue on a tractor I bought. The PO put a longer bolt in with a nut on the inside. Wasn't my cup of tea, but it worked for him...
I installed braces.:beerchug:
