Farmall light switch in a cub

So, I'm planning on putting a 3 position switch in my 1250, would a switch from a farmall 560 work? Isn't it Low beams, High beams, and rear light? I would like to put a front and rear worklight in and wire it up to not always be on.

Any switch will work if wired properly.

Are you trying to hook up lights other than headlights/taillights? Otherwise, just a simple on-off switch will do.

Are you looking to have it do Front, Back, Both, and off???

I believe he wants one of these, it is 4 position by the way...

I want low beams, high beams, and worklights. I want either a 3 or 4 postion switch, if I can't find anything I'll just go with an Off-onA-onB switch.

you can try ebay/ Steiner tractor, part number is 371465R91

Honestly I would keep head lights and "work lights" on separate switches. One on/off for work lights one on/off/on for high beam and low beam head lights

Just an observation, you seem to be into more projects than I can count.

May I suggest that you finish one project before starting another.
