New cub project. First timer and I’m tickled so far!
 

Had a great friend of mine GIVE me a partially restored 100. I was so excited to get her home and get started.
Here are the things I’m working on and need help with.
-need a 42” IH plow subframe. I have one that is too long that I can hack up and make work if no other option exists.
-I have been able to get the engine to turn over using battery out of my 0 turn. It only has 195 cca’s so I’ll be buying a new battery with 360cca.
-This allowed me to see if the push to start was sending voltage to s/g and all is good there. I then was tracing the voltage to Ig coil but not sure if s/g is sending correct voltage to it. Is that something you can tell just by cranking it over using a meter?
-need a spark plug wire. Would Napa or any other retail carry a cable I could pick up locally that would work on this IC?

Amazing gift! I particularly like the looks of the 100, not being a nice and shinny new paint, but reserving some original paint, and weather wear.

I'd check with the sponsors up above to find a coil high tension lead. An original to the 100 would look better in my opinion.

Ser no: 66758 63-64model, has the 10 horse K241. This thing is cool. Need to get it operational. Restoring is not primary intention and something I’ll do over the years. I would like to get it running ASAP and get my plow attached! What a gift!

Nice looking 100 sir. The ignition coil positive post is powered by the key switch. Yes, using a test light or a meter you should see 12 volts there during start and run. Here’s the diagram

You can use any plug wire to try/test/ start it, they ain't fussy.
