Spirol pin for Steering Arm

For the Cub Cadet 125, I need to replace the 5/16 x 2 spirol pin...... And McMaster-Carr has several choices! Does it matter and is one better than any of the other? There is steel, heavy duty steel, Stainless Steel and even HD stainless steel. Thanks in advance.

I would go get the reg. steel one.

Just remember Spirol or coil, not just a roll pin.

No it don't matter, those things all suck to remove later

The BFH got the old one out in less than a minute..... ......but I wouldn't try that on the drive components with out first supporting the shaft. Either the BFH or I was just lucky:biggrin2:

I just took a few parts off of a 1650 and the BFH needed help from an air powered 3" cutoff wheel, and the smoke wrench to get the spirol pins that I removed, out.
