1962 Original restore

I'm in the process of restoring my 62 Original. I have it all torn apart down to the frame and I am wondering how you guys clean the frame. Pressure washer? Degreaser and a lot of rags? Its sitting in my garage and I have no floor drain if I use pressure washer or hose. Any other ideas?

I usually scrape off what comes off easily than use rags and a drain pan of some sort for the really greasy stuff. Use a spray bottle and some mineral spirits. Spray it on and scrub with a parts washer brush, tooth brush or whatever works.
Then it's off to the sandblaster.l

I'm the same boat as you are. When it gets cold will take it to a local car wash. I use Simple Green or Castrol Purple cleaner to clean the tractor. .

Take it to the coin op car wash.

Spray on oven cleaner is good for a presoak there.
