Cub 73 wiring

Hello everybody. My old wiring was literally falling apart, so I bought a new reproduction off eBay. Apparently, it's universal. I don't have an Amp gauge or headlights. My question is that I have 2 green wires going into 1 eyelet and then a thin red wire that I have no clue what to do with them. Everything else, I have wired correctly. I have the thin yellow going to the small post on the solenoid for the safety switch. I seen a prior post that showed the thin red and the green wires going to a junction block which my cub doesn't have. Thanks for any and all help.

Post pics if you could. That will help a lot. Post a pic of the area, and then an up close pic.

My name is Chad also, and my grandfather just picked up a 1971 73 that he tells me is basically mint and he was told it has less than 20 hours on it. Apparently the original owner bought it, passed away, and it's sat in a shed since. If you'll post pics, I'll get over to his place and check the wiring and see what I can come up with. I'm certain that his is factory, so it should be helpful.

Start a new thread on this one. That would be interesting to see.

The wire going to the safety switch should be orange, yellow would the the wire that goes to the F terminal on the S/G and the F terminal on the V/R. Here is a link to the 73 wiring diagram.

Roland's wiring diagrams are just the best.
