Charging Problems
 

Good morning

Awhile back I posted that I thought my battery was being discharged during operation. After more testing the charging system only puts out about 12 volts instead of about 13.5 that I have read it should produce. I have grounded the starter/generator and get a noticable change in load on the engine, but voltage going to battery does not change. I have tried two different Voltage Regulator and see no difference between the two.

Is my generator failing or should I purchase a new voltage regulator?

Is there a way to test voltage at the generator or at the regulator?
