FR691V Kawasaki Engine with low idle hunt
 

Have done all I know to do , cleaned out cooling fins, fresh gas new filters , plugs ect. Runs and mows great , just hunts idle at low RPM. I have found nothing wrong with the governor springs, cleaned carb with carb cleaner and run thru cleaner , no change. Even tried to adjust the "hidden " screw on top of the carb without change. What am I missing ? Or any other ideas

Did you remove the carb and take it completely apart to clean it?

I have not , but I was worried Id ruin at least a running mower.

I thought that carb cleaner and run thru cleaner would work. In your experience is carb removal my next step. What would one clean that in , and will I need a carb kit - if there is such an item?
