http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=6461 Dan, It is hard to say what needs done to your Cub with the infomation you gave. We need some more details so we can be able to help you out. Does the motor still turn over? Is there any extra holes on the side of the motor? Is the motor together or do you have it apart? Depending on how soon you need to have your Cub running can be a factor too. I tell everyone to expect 2 to 3 weeks to have the motor back together when I rebuild one. Two main reasons are waiting on parts and machine shop to get the machine work done. Expect to pay $125 to $175 for labor to have a K321 motor rebuilt. Parts and machine shop work can run $200 to $350. Depending on how much work you do you can save some money. You can buy a cheapie rebuild kit on e-pay.....the parts are substandard in my book. I wouldn't use or recomend them. My Son I usually will rebuild 3-4 Kohlers a year. One of our sponsors should be able to supply you a motor. You need to contact them. |
what is a PECO vac system? jeff
|
Jeff,
PECO is a company in North Carolina that makes vacuums for mowers. They have been around for quite awhile. You could order units built for IHCCs back in the day. Although you cannot buy a new one specifically made to fit older cubs, they still make units for new mowers. http://www.lawnvac.com/resources.html |
ahhhhh ok, i've seen them advertise something like that on tv here. like the cyclone rake or something. thanks for clearing that up for me!!! jeff
