K161
What spec # would a k 161 with the 2 7/8 bore be?
It has a 2 piece cam in it.

Spec # is 281033h.This was in a 70 but it has 4 holes threaded in the block on the pto end ,so I am thinking it is not a cub block,but it was fine in the 70.PTO and the crank dia were the same. This was already bored out .030 I thought the early blocks were able to be bored to the newer 2 15/16 bore which is STD.Seems like a lot of meat left to bore it larger

Near as I can tell by the parts book, the old motors can be bored to the 2 15/16", then over-sized to .030" All old piston part numbers sub to the new "standard" sizes and are available to .030" oversized. No notes saying that they can't be......
 So I'd say you are correct.

Thanks for the info,thought it was able to be bored larger,so just another block to hang onto.
