Late harvest
This has been a strange cool summer here in N.E.Ohio. I only have 2 tomato plants this year, beefsteak variety. I have A LOT of darn near softball size 'maters, and none with a single tinge of red.
Are other folks gardens running late this year? I think I am gonna need a 5-gallon bucket of corn meal to cook up all the green fries.....

Nice blackberry!!
Our garden is only a couple weeks behind but we are already enjoying tomatoes, Cherokee Purples, San Marzanos and Costoluto Florintino. Peppers are just turning red now, first planting of corn is just about done and we need a break from it...if you know what I mean. Dug up a potato, really nice Burbank Russets, 18 for that first plant. Garlic were epic this year, best ever as are onions. Good year for beans, raspberries, cukes and pretty much everything else. We've had lots of rain here in Ontario, cub cadet is running every 3 days still cutting grass.

The mocking birds also love the berries, I threw over a half dozen nests out of the berry plants.  sometimes, they would rebuild in 24 hours,,,
