Default What does it fit?

I ran across this snow blade on the local CL, the owner says it is a universal fit which I question. I am looking for a blade for my 2082 super and wanted to know if I can fit this. It looks like this lifts from the center like the newer style tractors. The model on the blade is 190-302-100. I have been following the thread about the wide frame plows on the Cyclops, it seem like it would be easy to adapt one of those to fit with a few pieces of steel and a welder.

Doesn't appear that it "officially" fits that machine.

HOWEVER, that's nothing a welding torch, maybe some steel, and an angle grinder couldn't fix

Edit: That being said, with how often I see blades on craigslist, unless you're good with fabricating, I'd just skip it and keep an eye out for an appropriate blade.

A blade for your 2082 isn't hard to come by. I wouldn't waste time modifying that one. Besides, it's for a LT, not a GT, let alone a SGT. I would imagine even if you mounted it you'd more than likely tear it up.

That blade is for a 2000 and maybe a 3000 series, didn't check on the 3000.

Sorta figured it was for a newer style Cadet like the 2000 series , the guy selling it said it fits everything. I guess with a big hammer and a torch he's right, but I think I'll wait for the right one to come along. I see by the attachment guide the blade for my super is 54", is there a narrower blade that will fit the super's mounts, I have a 48" gate and the wide blade just won't fit.

Angle the blade when you go through the gate, then it'll fit. I've got a few narrow spots I go through with my 54" and that's what I do.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
