Default Busy, but havent forgot you!

Folks,
Finally got my head above the sap flow and finish the maple syrup season production for 2011.
Looking forward to visiting this site more often as the cubs start to come out and the lawn work starts.
I will try to get through a lot of the posts that I have missed.
I ride a forum site called mapletrader.com most of the time.
Keep thinking Yellow and Red! I love the pictures
Regards,
Chris

Yea I feel like the pickle in the middle
Should we,
Was just through Fairview yesterday stopped and bought a new Stihl 250-C chainsaw. I wore out the last one took about 8 years. Do you pull at Albion fair?
Cubcrazy,
Is Jackson Center near Mercer? I knew a guy that lived near Jackson Center. His name was Ray Smitley, in his younger days he worked on a chicken farm. I went to school with him in Pittsburgh.

Cant wait to get the Cubs out and do some yard work. Mine are just working tractors that I have picked up. I like how rugged they are and pretty easy to work on too.
Regards,
Chris

Default hey

no i have not pulled in the albion fair, i pulled in the stoneboro fair with my brother. I believe Albion does not allow suitcase weights or torque amplifiers. I believe they pull dead weights. I would like to pull my 106, when i get it ready. But like all things it takes time and money. you do much pulling? I am on the MTA my brother is on the 560.

Sugarmaker,

Yeah, Jackson Center is only about 6 miles north of Mercer. Don't recognize that name.

Should we
Looks like you guys are serious about pulling. I have never tried it. But love to see these old farm tractors still doing the job at the track!
Wife wont let me start another hobby like pulling Grandson Mike and Nic have pulled most of the cubs but they are just mowers not pullers.
Hey I did start three of the four cubs (86,73 and 102) and got two dug out and ran around the drive.
Worked on a Agri-fab wagon today It is sized for the Cubs. Needs new tires all around so took those off the rims and will probably get four new 6 x 16.5 x 8 ( I think that's the size) at Tractor supply. The running gear needs a little attention too as it has been used hard for the last 15 years. Front spindles need a washer or new bushing.
Regards,
Chris

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
