Default Plow for my 100

What snow plow do i need for my 100? Will a regular narrow frame snow blade work or are the 70-100 plows different? thanks

You need the 42" blade. Any of the narrow frame blades will work. The 100 blades were bolt on, while the newer narrow frames had the quick attach system. From what I've gathered, you can use the quick attach with the 100, as well. You can also use just the blade from a wide frame, but the subframe is different. Here's some pics of my blade and subframe. Hope this helps.

Congrats on the blade!

I recently got a blade for my 100, also. Here's a picture of it mounted. Can get closer ones, if needed. My subframe is just like Allen's, but has pins welded in the bottom holes, for quick attach. Circled in red in Allen's picture.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
