3pt hitch advise
I have been blessed with enough cash to order a 3pt hitch for my 2284. My budget is $550 and that has to buy the hitch,a A frame sleeve hitch adapter and shipping. I am trying to decide between xtreme and ruegg. Can anyone tell me their experiences with these two to help me decide. I will be placing my order first of next week

Did you do the installation? If you did was it pretty straight toward and did you have any issues?

The Ruegg hitch is a copy of the correct one for a super, while the Xtreme one is a copy of the correct one for a GT that also happens to fit a super. If you ever want to add a rear PTO, you need the Ruegg hitch.

Thanks Matt that helps a lot. I like the idea of the Reugg being the correct one for my Super but it is quite a bit more expensive. I wonder what the chances of ever finding a pto are and if the price difference is really worth it.

Update on getting a hitch
Well after much deliberation I ordered the Xtreme category 0 3pt hitch and sleeve hitch adapter today. I really liked the idea of Ruegg being a factory style and powder coated but the multi configuration option of the Xtreme was the deciding factor. I am trying to set up a picture hosting account so I can post pictures once the hitch arrives. Anyone who has installed these send me any tips or tricks to make the installation easier.
