Default just wondering about tire sizes for the 82 series

Do the 982s come with wider front tires than other models? My 682 appears to have the same size tires as my 1650, front and rear, but pics I see of the 982 seem to have larger or wider tires in front. I like 'em. Will they fit a 682?

the 982's get 26x12x12 rear & 18x8.50x8 on the front, because they are super garden tractors.they will fit but will be real hard to turn on the front of smaller tractors ,the worm gear is different (gear ratio) & they mite hit your deck because the front axle on the supers is bent forward on the ends if you look at the pics the (1650)yellow is ur axle its strate with no bends in it & if you look at the (982)red one its bent on the ends hope this helps

Yep. I see what you mean. Guess I'll stick with stock. Thanks.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
