Default Seat interchangeability?

I am looking at a seat off a 1250. Is that the same bolt pattern as my 122?

Is there a resource for which seats will bolt into my tractor?

Would a replacement IH seat from TSC work on a 1450? Or will it need to be modded? Like the look and seat padding much better than my original six pad seat. Also im wanting to protect the six pad seat from any more rips than it has now, and i can always bolt it back on to keep it original too.

The seat mount is pretty different between a 122 and a 1250, so I wouldn't bet on the same set of holes lining up in both. Some seats have a lot of different holes in the bottom, but unfortunately IH used a configuration that no one else did. Most generic seats won't fit without making an adapter plate.

Default Final answer?

Well to referee my own question!

I e-mailed the guy with the 1250 seat and ask him to measure the bolt distances. I then measured the distances on my 122.

THEY ARE THE SAME!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
