Fender differences?
What are the differences between the Original round fenders and the 70/100 fenders? I have a set and I'm not sure which machine they're for. Is it possible for them to interchange at all? Thanks in advance!

They are different in the way they mount. You can mount them on either tractor but the mount brackets would have to be correct for the tractor. O's use a seat pan and stabilizer rod and the 70/100 use L brackets and axle clamps.

These are what "O" fenders will look like. A pan fits across the frame to attach both fenders then an all thread rod fits thru both fenders and under the seat spring to add some stability.
 Picture courtesy of xtrememotorworks.com The fenders for the other Narrow frames use angled brackets to attach the fenders to the frame at the seat and also have axle tube brackets that wrap around the tube for extra stability.  You could make one or the other work for each style but it would take a little metal work and time.

That was fast! Great info. I must have O fenders since mine came with the rod. No other brackets came with them. So, I guess all I need is the under seat bracket to mount them on my O. I saw a repro of that bracket somewhere...just can't remember where now.
