That Clutch Driver Is very pricey. Recently I replaced the clutch in my 1200. I drilled the rivits out of the clutch driver and replaced the center piece which appears to be a type of spring steel with a piece of sheet metal. I was told that doing that will create problems because it does not allow the system to flex. The lower ISO mounts were also bad. I had heard the replacement mounts cause vibration. I did manage to find a pair of original mounts and used those along with my two good ones. Lastly Patton Acres sells a clutch disk which is made from solid clutch material at a lesser price. Working well so far. Has anyone else tried this?

I've heard of using a NF 3 pin driver and making a custom drive shaft but have not tried that myself. My wallet was happy I had spare in the garage! The replacement mounts have to be better then my worn out mounts! I'll find out tonight when I get it done. Top and bottom was shot on my 1200.

What's Rich's clutch made out of?

I finally got it done!

I tried putting the in MOOG's to save money but wasn't happy with the vibration so I put a new set of cc ISO's in it. I'm a lot happier and I'm sure lots of people have used the MOOG's have been happy with their results. I did the ISO upgrade but had to cut the brace as my welder didn't weld the rails in the correct spot. I'm going to go back and have him weld where I had to cut it to make it work.

The clutch turned out great and I got some seat time testing it out! This project is DONE!

So much to the talking lets get to the pics!

It looks great Duke. I'll give you $100 for it and let you deliver it to me. But I am betting Vince will want it pretty bad too. hahahahahaha

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
