Default cub original clutch question
Me and my friend are working on an Original and we ran into a problem. The clutch won't disengage so you can't shift gears. Any idea what to do?

Perhaps the disk is rusted/fixed to the flywheel. (This happened to mine).

With the engine off, press down on the clutch and slip a putty knife between the disk and the plate to get it unstuck.

There's a roller bearing or bushing in between the center pulley and drive shaft that has rust or seized. I dont remember which it is but common on the O's.

Also, one other thing you can do is when you park it, lock the brake/clutch pedal down so the discs remain free.

I have three Originals and really like mine. It's fun to see some of the looks from passers-by.
