Default ccc creeper 86

the plow has been adapted from a craftsman tractor
has a hommade bracket that attaches the same way the mule does
only thing is the lever works in reverse to raise and lower it
ive hd the plow for years and wanted it on something in case it ever snows so i made the bracket and the lift rodthe plow pivits on the bracket i made unlike the ih plows that have a hinge point

the pins were very reasonable i thought at 1.69 for the 3/4 ones and1.99 for the 1 1/4 ones
here are a couple pics cause i know how u guys love the pics
How long did it take to convert this? Anything special required, or is it along the lines of...
1. remove old drive shaft.
2. Cut to fit (I'm told there's a score line).
3. Bolt in creeper box.
4. reinstall drive shaft.

Talking creeper

the creeper install was as easy as it sounds u pound out 2 pins and take a cutoff wheel to the driveshaft at the score line
take 2 bolts out of tranny reduction box
i ran a tap in the other 2 holes to make sure there wasnt dirt in the threads
clean the housing good install the gear where the old driveshaft connected put 4 bolts on the creeper and 2 pins in the driveshaft
fill with oil and your done

if you have any mechanical ability you will think of it as plug and play

Anywhere. Maybe a scrap yard (most will sell to you, for a little more than scrap value), maybe along the road (with tractor), classified ads, craigslist, and of course fleabay.

The cost depends on what the seller wants and you're willing to pay. Of course, condition plays a role. In the end... buyer beware. Get lots of pictures if it's 'sight unseen' or even better- video showing the actual creeper box works and is not seized up/broken/etc.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
