I changed the front tires on the QL 1000 to 18 x 7.50 x 8 to match the rear 26" tall tires.

The 7.50's are the exact width of the 16 x 6.50 x 8's I took off so there is no rubbing when turning.

After changing the tires I tried it out by hauling a couple loads of firewood for the Cub shack.

I had to keep the trailer loaded front heavy to maintain traction coming down the mountain.

Looks like you could use the front blade as a E brake if you had too.

I think you like showing off that green too much!

That's a Magnum 660, WHOLE lot of saw!! I never measured it, must be 28-30 inch bar.

I will look for some yellow mud, can't get it in Statesville, all they got is red!!

Did some work in the yard today. Nothing like a Cub Cadet 100, and IH attachments!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
